Official Trailer for NOT A FAN

I’m not sure why, but this little trailer whipped me harder than any edit I’ve ever worked on in my life. I finally admitted defeat, at which point Richard Ramsey took over and cut together 90% of what has become the finished piece. Add a day of color work and sound tweaking from Kevin Bryan, and you’ve got the first real look at what the NOT A FAN experience is all about.
In case you can’t already tell, this will not be a shiny-happy-feel-good message. It will likely be a message that many who have claimed the name of Christ find difficult to hear. But it is, without a doubt, a message that has the power to radically change your perspective and the whole course of your life. And please believe, this is not the marketing-speak of an enthusistic director…these are words of experience from someone who will never look at his life the same way again.

This hit me between the eyes. And it’s making me question what kind of Christian I am and what kind of Christian I want to be. I need to see this desperately and yet am afraid to at the same time because I don’t know what the answer is to the question “are you a fan or a follower of Jesus Christ?”. I know what the answer should be, but I fall so short.
Can’t wait to see it.

I’m sure this message will speak to many people who call themselves Christian because they go to a church and live somewhat decent happy lives.

Wow! From watching the trailer, “Not a Fan” looks awesome, but definitely not in the feel good kind of way (as you said). Just from the trailer, I was reminded that my life purpose and passion should not be to make lots of money but to glorify Christ and stand firm in him–a very important reminder as I graduate from high school. When and where will “Not a Fan” be available?

Wow, pretty powerful stuff, guys! If this will be anything like H20 and TEE, it will make an impact, not a trickle, in the lives of people. Thank you for your commitment to some quality stuff! We love you!

Once again, you guys have really hit it out of the park. The H2O and Easter programs were fantastic, but this looks to raise the bar again. This seems to be stronger and bolder than before. Great artists always want to be better than thier last creation, and you have done that. As a filmmaker myself, (although not on your scale!)I know the hours of work you must have put into this, and judging by the trailer alone…it was worth it. I can’t wait to get this into my church, and into the people who need to see this.

One night I couldn’t sleep thinking of all the things that were happening throughout the week so I got up went downstairs turned on the TV and channel surfed until I got to JCTV. There was a program on there that gripped me and I could not change the channel. I was riveted to the TV. This is a powerful film that should be watched over and over by every Bible-believing Christian, strong and weak or inbetween. Straight forward and true to scripture, I applaud your efforts on this very touching and moving video. May God bless your work so richly….see you in Heaven!
