Last week, Shane, Kevin and Cibby traveled back to Houston (yes, each one of us has called Houston home at one point in our lives!) to meet with our current supporters and lots of new folks who have just completed The Easter Experience journey.
Once again, we were overwhelmed with the stories we heard from those who did the study. One woman’s husband had to be transferred to a hospital unit while he waits for a new heart (really), so the small groups pastor at the church did the study with him and his wife in his hospital room.
Another gentleman moved into a nursing home, years before he expected and decided to not gripe about his current living conditions, but instead, launched The Easter Experience right there in the common living area amongst his new neighbors. We were told it was amazing….
So as tons of people love to hear about what we’re doing, how and why we do what we do, we love to hear the stories.
There’s really no way to fully grasp the impact The Easter Experience and H20 are having on countless lives, so we treasure the times we have with you all face-to-face.
Our thanks to the church that hosted the evening, Grace Christian in Katy, TX. We are looking forward to more invites to visit with groups that are using H20 and Easter Experience – it is a huge encouragement to us!
We also have begun hosting small groups here at our studio that are using our studies. Just last night a group of 12 folks joined us here for dinner and films! Shane gave a tour of our offices and editing suites and then we all sat down in the theatre for a presentation of who we are, why we do what we do and what we’re up to next! The calendar is quickly filling with more small groups and we couldn’t be happier!
