    • Meet The Director

      July 3rd, 2008

Ever have questions that you would love to ask Shane? (Outside of: What is your favorite food? or What’s your favorite TV show?)

We are talking the serious stuff. Why was City on a Hill started? What is in store for the future? The deepest questions imaginable! (Sort of)
Good news! Shane took a moment to talk about the focus of City on a Hill from its inception, and the very exciting future! It is all wrapped up in a nice little video blog complete with a sweet techno soundtrack…

        Hi,

My grandfather just pointed me in your dirrection. I’m a 23 year old graduate of Fresno Pacific in California. I have a degree in Communications with a production emphasis and the reason I chose it was to do exactly what you guys are doing.

In a little over a week I’m going to be working for MBMSI Mennonite Brethren Missions Services International) in Abbotsford, BC (Canada) doing editing and production for their new push into the relm of video ministry. We’re starting small, but as you said we are in a media based culture and we see the importance of keeping up. We pray God will use us and that our eforts will some day be instrumental in building His Kingdom.

After watching a few things here on your site I just wanted to encourage you in your work. Awesome. Well done. Keep it up. You’re an inspiration. And as always, to God be the glory.

        Peace

Thanks for this. I love the way you’ve used 5 minutes to sum it up, so far. I miss you all very much and am completely excited about the first five years as a foundation for the coming five…wow. Wow.

        Hey Shane.

I met you at Northside in Broken Arrow, OK at a conference. Since then I’ve been following all your work. Congrats on H20 on TBN. Say hi to Kyle for me. I’m from his old stomping grounds in Joplin, MO. Now I’m in TX, and offering videos I make as I learn little by little on sermonspice.com. http://www.sermonspice.com/listings/producer/285/fishxpressions/. I also have a spanish portfolio. A lot less people are speaking the language of video in spanish than english. Keep up the excellent work. Oh if others, myself included, could put out the quality of your work, what a blessing that would be! Thanks for the inspiration.

Shane, Iam so happy for you and city on the hill productions, congratulations. I remember the first time I saw H20, I was so impressed how God is using you to remaind us about who He is and how much love He has for us. I thank Molley because, I was able to share H20 with my spanish speaking family(from church)and friends. They are wating for the subtitle ones that you are going to have for sale soon.
Also God is been showing me that what you talk and what I hear at my church is exactly the same, even though we speak a different language we have the same God, same Jesus, same Holy Spirt. Keep working for God’s ministry and remember: But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him 1Cor.2:9 Felicidades!!!!!!!
