    • A Way Out - Memphis, TN

      June 4th, 2008

A little over 2 years ago, Shane, Kevin, & I went down to Memphis, Tennessee to produce a Ministry Support video for a ministry program called A Way Out. All three of us were utterly floored by the experience.

A Way Out is an incredible ministry that exists to help women leave the sex for sale industry and discover the fullness of life in Christ. From my safe little chair in my safe little world, it was so easy for me to dismiss these women consumed by a life of promiscuity…until I got to know them. With each shared story, I fell in love with yet another precious child of God and realized, as one of their mentors so perfectly put it, that “there but by the grace of God go I.” These women, daughters of my Father, had experienced incomprehensible pain throughout their lives with no hope for relief until God pulled them into His loving arms through A Way Out.

This was an awesome video. I immediately connected, felt compassion and wanted to be part of this ministry. I live near Las Vegas, NV and this ministry could really impact “sin city” in a major way. I hope they come west young woman, come west.

We operate a “free” clinic outside Williamsburg, Va.
Do you have any literature you could share with us that could be displayed in our waiting room?

My wife was in the “industry” in the early 1980’s. She got out, but not without baggage. She is a binge type alcoholic. We are separated, and have been for nine years. I love her dearly…but cant live with her. We have a wonderful, intelligent 14 year old son. I wonder…do you have any resources for someone like her? She is so difficult to make a LASTING impact on. The alcohol has taken its toll. She has been repeating this cycle for over 20 years! Drink…anger…blame…guilt…regret…sorrow…depression…isolation…normalcy…complacency…and then it repeats. Please contact me. I desperately desire to see the evil strongholds broken, and eradicated permanently. I am a follower of Christ. She is not. Thankyou, and may your ministry grow and abound for the needs of injured women all over america. I was deeply moved upon viewing “A Way Out” (6-4-08). Please see if family bookstores, and larger christian bookstores in the greater memphis area will retail your videos! Be Blessed!!!!!
